hey guys sorry i’ve been gone for such a long time, i had to do some R&R, you know take a break from updating all the time and counting calories. I didnt binge, but i let myself not worry about calories all the time and its been really great. I havent lost any more weight, but i also havent gained anything more than 1 or 2 lbs. It was a good rest and thats what i needed to get remotivated. I didnt want to keep pushing myself because ive been really stressed out lately with big tests and no time to do anything other than sleep, soccer, and work. But, after a nice “rest” im ready to dive back in and lose those last 7 lbs. Prom is in 2 weeks and my goal is to lose 5 lbs by then!
doing the classwork for tomorrow tonight so i can just kick it in class tomorrow and not do shiit! haha
Its dark outside. The curtains are drawn. There is a streetlight projecting a glowing cone of light upon the cool asphalt. You can only see a few stars now. There used to be more but the city has gotten brighter and so the stars have dimmed. It’s springtime now and the air smells crisp. The days are getting longer and every day it seems like the sky becomes a more vivid blue. Summer will be here soon; Long, sunny days to be spent hiking, picnicking, and swimming in lakes. Then on the balmy nights we will take off our shoes and feel the grass between our toes as we dance through a field at midnight. We look like nymphs as we flit about, illuminated by a fluorescent moon. We spin in circles until the earth and sky blend into one and the tiny stars create streaking lines across our eyes. We are invincible. Far off on the horizon there is a glimmer of light and the vast tide of night begins to recede. The sky pales and then erupts into a dazzling spectrum of crimson and orange, as if a painter had thrown his palette heavenward, spiraling upwards into the stratosphere until it hit the boundaries of our universe and splattered in perfect chaos across the sky. We retreat to our warm beds- exhausted and content- as the earth continues to perform its infinite pirouettes around the sun.
